Redundant computers?

Here is a picture of three Dell laptops, all different models and well past their sell by date for running windows XP or later.

They are all P3's running between 600 and 800 MHz cpu and 128 and 256 memory.
As you can see they are all running Ubuntu 12.04 with Unity and are perfectly usable.
This is achieved by network booting from a single Linux Terminal Server (LTSP).

 If only more organisations would realise that this is possible, there would be a lot less equipment scrapped and the environment would benefit.
